The Bell in Benington

We would like to introduce ourselves. Our names are Raffie and Rashieda Hosein and we are the new owners of The Bell in Benington. We were born in Trinidad (we are often referred to as Trini’s) but, recently moved from Birdwood, a small village near the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire to make Benington our new home and take our first step in the Food & Drinks industry.

Husband Raffie; I am a qualified accountant and have swapped my small accounting and taxation practice to be the Front of House Manager overseeing the pouring of drinks and local ales.

.

Wife Rashieda; I am also a qualified Accountant and Banker but, I have now swapped my computer for a cooker and I will now be adding all the spices in the Kitchen as the Head Chef.

The Bell will continue to be a pub with a twist. The local’s will be welcomed to come in and enjoy Caribbean hospitality and cuisine at its best. A fusion of Trinidadian and English home cooked meals, prepared daily and presented in a warm and welcoming environment.

We have been overwhelmed and are very grateful for the interest from the local community and will endeavor to make The Bell ‘a pub for the community!’

We also want to thank everyone for their support during the re-launch of The Bell and the introduction of The TriniPot.
